Kris founded Travelers Assurance Services Co. on the strength of his 24 years of experience in the insurance industry. The designation of "captain of the industry" is truly befitting for Kris. He has steered business units of major corporations as a top-level executive for many years. Kris's wealth of connections and ability to cut through rigidity of large corporations makes him an ideal CEO of a TPA.

 

In 1984, Kris began his career in the insurance industry at AON. For many years, Kris devoted to providing insurance and reinsurance services to major corporations.

 

His leadership and management skills proven over the years elevated him to the ranks of Executive Vice President of AON California and Managing Director of AON Asia.

 

After his tenures with AON, Kris provided leadership as Executive Vice President at Willis of New York, a leading company in insurance and reinsurance industry. 

 

Kris holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Georgetown University and an MBA degree from Ohio State University.

 

Based in Diamond Bar, California, Travelers Assurance Services Co. (TASCO) is a Third Party Administration (TPA) company that exclusively processes insurance claims for LIG's travelers insurance division.

Jae Yang

Chief Information Officer

 

With 22 years of experience spanning IT systems administration, Web architecture, software engineering, and quality assurance, Jae provides his leadership at Tasco with his well-rounded expertise in information systems. Jae’s philosophy of designing foundationally sound information systems that are future-proof and scalable sets him apart from other CIOs. 

 

Jae began his career as an IT products evaluator for Ziff-Davis Media and Softbank. Many of Jae’s articles on various IT products, technologies, and business solutions were published in major national publications such as PC Magazine, PC Week, and Baseline Magazine as well as online media outlets. 

 

At the pinnacle of the dotcom revolution, Jae served as Vice President of Product Development at e-Media, a Sun Microsystems-invested venture, where he managed a cross-functional team to develop internet media streaming appliances and edge caching servers.

 

Jae's expertise in Web systems architecture and IT systems administration landed him in Korea to serve as the IT Project Manager for the U.S. Army's Public Affairs Office. As Chief Technologies Officer of SMI-Hyundai Corporation, Jae managed several mission critical information systems to support construction projects in Germany, UAE, Egypt, and Libya where he solved many challenging problems. 

 

Jae holds a bachelor’s degree in Physics from University of California at Berkeley and a master’s degree in Computer Science from Columbia University.
